Monday, July 9, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Are you gifted with extra-sensory perception? Think you might have psychic tendencies? Come test your mind-reading skills at our ESP Fair! We’ll have three booths set up with Zener cards, tools used internationally to test skills of both “senders” and “receivers” of information. You’ll come, and bring a friend or two? I KNEW you were going to say that! (This program is offered twice – although you’re welcome to come to both, they’re both the same.)
WE’RE FROM THE …F.B.I.
Monday, June 25, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Ever wanted to get closer to the action on C.S.I.? Help unlock the mysteries of crime scenes with FBI Field Agent Ed Lawson. Mr. Lawson will take us through the steps of crime scene investigation in a hands-on, hour-long program. Then stick around and we’ll make our own plaster casts of shoeprints or footprints, hopefully outside, if it’s nice!
WHO KILLED THE LIBRARIAN?
Saturday, July 7, 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. (after the Library closes)
Something shocking has happened –the music librarian’s been murdered! Who would do such a thing? YOU can be the detective -- crack the clues and win a prize! This crime is too big for one room, so we’re taking over the Library after hours for this interactive murder mystery. There is ONE catch – to participate, you absolutely MUST REGISTER for this program by June 30th. Register by calling Noël in the YA Department at 352-0576 ext. 35, or IM lgpublib, or email

Our book discussions are at various times this summer, so if you can’t make it to all, come to one or two! Bring a friend and bring the book or books you’re reading right now and tell us about them. We’ll have snacks and lots of lively, stimulating discussion as we swap favorite scenes, enthusiasm, and passion for books!
