Hey Teens-- Interested in Films?

Attention High School Students

Friday, June 15, 7:30 p.m.
Friday, June 29, 7:30 p.m.
Friday, July 13, 7:30 p.m.

School was never like this! Three cinema events will be screened old fashioned drive-in style -- outside on the library wall!

Friday, June 15: American Graffiti
by Star Wars director George Lucas

The story of four teens on their last summer night before college. Great early rock and roll score!

Friday, June 29: The Frighteners
by Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson

A wicked comedy thriller starring Michael J. Fox as a small town ghostbuster who’s actually a psychic con man in league with the ghosts he’s supposed to be exorcising.

Friday, July 13:
SPECIAL FRIDAY THE 13TH PREMIERE EVENT
Late Afternoon of the Living Dead
by Chicago director Jason Huls

Jason Huls is a talented young filmmaker who will attend this screening and bring along some of his cast and crew. Appropriately, the film is about a librarian who survives an attack by the undead and goes from Dewey Decimal guru to zombie slaying machine.

A short presentation before each film will explain the directors’ influences, and will highlight special attributes of the experimental films as well as the feature presentations. Come to all three events and receive a free WCFS t-shirt.
